Our orchards

Discover our Norman heritage.

Our orchards

Since our launch in 1943, we have been able to accumulate a heritage of 150 hectares of orchards. They are located in the Normandy region, the main cider producing region in France and renowned for its superior quality apples, pears and ciders. Our orchards are cultivated with care and attention, using environmentally friendly practices to ensure sustainable, high quality production.
Our orchards are composed of different varieties of apples and pears, adapted to the local climatic conditions, to guarantee an abundant and quality harvest throughout the season. The harvest season starts in mid-September and ends in early December.

Our fruits

We pride ourselves on producing superior quality fruit, grown on sloping land for better drainage for the fruit trees. The cider apples are specific varieties, each with unique characteristics (flavor, texture, sugar content…), adapted to the local climatic conditions, to guarantee an abundant and quality harvest throughout the season. Harvesting begins in mid-September and ends in early December.
We like to share our passion for fruit with our customers and invite them to come and discover our products sold directly in our cider house located in Lalacelle near Alençon, or on our online store. Our orchards are composed of different varieties of apples and pears.

Our sheep

In our ecological approach, we have decided to perpetuate the Norman tradition, thanks to the eco-pasture.
Indeed, it is the sheep that maintain our orchards.
This way, our farmers save time because they have a vegan diet and are able to graze on undesirable weeds and leaves that grow under the trees.

Our bees

Our orchards attract bees and other pollinators to the surrounding area. Bees are key pollinating insects for orchards because they help pollinate apple and pear flowers.
Without bees to pollinate orchards, fruit production would be greatly reduced. They are therefore crucial in the production of fruit to enable us to produce quality ciders.
